Senior Associate, Industrial Security
About the role
The Senior Associate, Industrial Security (CPSO) manages and directs all security related issues associated with the IC program portfolio at the L3Harris Space & Mission Systems office in Rochester, NY. Key responsibilities include managing facility security functions, implementing security policies, analyzing security incidents, and interfacing with external and internal customers.
Responsibilities
- Administer, address, and complete personnel security requirements with employees regarding security issues, CONOP writing, program protection plans, program access briefings, and clearance/access maintenance for briefed employees
- Administer and track requisite annual training, escort training, initial security clearance briefing, and security debriefing for all cleared employees
- Ensure all required security support for IC programs, and manage operations of SCIFs in accordance with governing directives and program specific guidance
- Implement and enforce security policy, procedures, and protocols consistent with National Industrial Security Program requirements
- Analyze and investigate security incidents and violations; prepare internal and external customer reports
- Guard/alarm interface; liaison with alarm monitoring facility to ensure security of controlled/secure areas in accordance with government requirements
- Manage and handle incoming and outgoing classified material, destruction and other such accountable items
- Create and/or maintain continuity books and procedures for multiple security functions
- Prepare and update Fixed Facility Checklists (FFCs) and other documents in accordance with customer guidelines
- Adhere to L3Harris corporate policies on protecting intellectual property, PII protection, Insider Threat, and other such policies
- Conduct indoctrination briefings and educate cleared personnel on their clearance responsibilities
- Debrief individuals who no longer have a need-to-know or resign from their position
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
- Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance preferred
Additional Skills
- Completion of an accredited/approved CPSO course
- Other professional accreditations and certifications
- Experience using security management software and applications
- Experience implementing NISPOM requirements and ICD 705 Standards
- Familiarity with operations of SCIF spaces
Pay, Benefits & Schedule
The salary range for this role in New York is $57,500 - $107,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
