About the Role

As a Senior Industrial Mechanical Engineer at Coffman Engineers, you’ll be part of a collaborative, creative, and high-performing team. This role supports and leads crane projects for clients in aerospace, military, energy, private, and manufacturing sectors. The position follows a hybrid work schedule, though fully remote arrangements may be considered based on experience and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage crane refurbishment and replacement projects
• Serve as technical lead and handle project management responsibilities
• Support business development and secure successful solicitations
• Coordinate with clients and lead multidisciplinary teams
• Conduct site visits, provide construction support, and oversee load testing

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• Minimum 8 years of crane or heavy machinery engineering experience
• Proven success in securing work and managing projects
• SolidWorks proficiency preferred
• Excellent communication, leadership, and technical writing skills
• Strong time management and a positive, team-focused attitude
• Availability for occasional travel to site visits and client meetings

Pay

Salary range: $100,000–$150,000
