Responsibilities
- Plan, design, implement, and manage integrated, production and service delivery systems to ensure performance, reliability, maintainability, schedule adherence, and cost control within the production site.
- Direct and implement projects that eliminate waste using the standard Industrial Engineering process, including complex process simulation, operations research, and business model cost analysis.
- Lead as Site Subject Matter Expert in all global and regional Industrial Engineering systems, practices, and applications (IEDB, MPT, PFC).
- Communicate key Industrial Engineering metrics for assigned customers to the site leadership team.
- Support and advise Business Unit Coordinators on process reliability and accuracy of process and project assumptions.
- Drive process improvement related activities for New Product Introduction.
- Coach, mentor, and train engineers within the Industrial Engineering team.
- Maintain and support all lower-level Industrial Engineering essential duties and responsibilities.
- Communicate, consult, and inform Site IE best practices with supporting data to Regional and Global IE teams.
- Support the Lean organization by developing a solid process foundation and data integrity to support process improvement throughout the organization.
- Understand and apply a broad range of industrial engineering tools (work measurement, simulation, process mapping, facilities and workstation design, operations research, etc.).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar related discipline required.
- Masters degree in Industrial Engineering or MBA preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering role, or other combination of education or experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in a Leadership or Supervisory role required.
Qualifications
- Lean Masters Certificate or Six Sigma Bronze required.
- MS Suite experience including Outlook, Visio, and Project required.
- AutoCAD skills/experience required.
- Strong financial and analytical ability, for example Profit & Loss, Planning and Delivery.
Skills
- Knowledge of broad range of industrial engineering tools (work measurement, simulation, process mapping, facilities and workstation design, operations research, etc.)
