Roles And Responsibilities

  • Analyze production processes, labor utilization, material flow, and facility layouts to improve efficiency and throughput.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing standards, labor standards, and capacity models.
  • Lead Value Stream Mapping exercises and identify opportunities to eliminate waste and improve process flow.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives including Kaizen events, 5S, visual management, and standard work implementation.
  • Evaluate production bottlenecks and develop sustainable solutions to improve operational performance.
  • Lead facility layout and workflow optimization projects to support business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Utilize data analytics and performance metrics to identify trends and support decision-making.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing leadership to drive continuous improvement efforts.
  • Support capital investment planning and justification activities.
  • Lead manufacturing readiness activities for new product introductions and production expansions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on industrial engineering best practices.
  • Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and operational performance reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
  • 7+ years of industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, labor standards, capacity analysis, and process optimization.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, manufacturing analytics, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Frequent walking and observation within production areas.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related discipline.
  • Led Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Experience leading cross-functional improvement projects.
  • Experience with manufacturing automation and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
  • Multi-site manufacturing experience.
  • Experience supporting capital expenditure and facility expansion projects.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.
