Senior Implementation Specialist-Atlanta, GA (100% Onsite)

About the role

This is a 12-month, fully onsite position in Atlanta, GA. The resource must be onsite 5 days a week with no exceptions. The estimated hours are 2080, and a drug screen is required.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day data center activities.
• Proactively monitor the data center, watching for and alerting the customer of amber lights, "hot" doors, etc.
• Escort dispatched field engineers when applicable.
• Manage LOIS parts (training will be provided onsite).
• Maintain documentation of the environment, including serial numbers, elevations, runbooks, etc.
• Coordinate with the customer for maintenance activities such as power, cooling, and containment wall maintenance.
• Perform BIOS lifecycle management, including adding users and patching.
• Triage with Dell support to schedule FSE break/fix activities.
• Update versions as directed by the customer team.

Requirements

• PowerEdge Rack/Tower experience.
• IDRAC experience.
• RHEL and Ubuntu OS experience.
• Experience working in a larger server environment.

Nice-to-have Skills

• PowerEdge XE Server experience.

Training

After selection, the candidate must complete Dell XE Server training via TechDirect. The partner company must submit the access request promptly so the resident can begin. The 50 hours of training must be completed during the background check period and finished before the residency start date.
