Senior Implementation Specialist

About the role

The customer seeks a Senior Implementation Specialist to assist with day‑two services in a VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environment running on Cisco UCS and VxRail hardware. The UCS hardware is already deployed and the VCF platform is installed, configured, and operational.

Responsibilities

• Provision Windows Server 2022 or 2025 instances within a vCenter environment hosted on Cisco UCS.
• Deploy virtual machines, balance workloads, and configure permissions in vCenter.
• Perform logical tasks associated with day‑two operations of the VCF solution.
• Collaborate with the customer to ensure optimal use of available capacity in the VCF environment.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship or Green Card status.
• Ability to work 100 % onsite in Houston, TX.
• Availability for a 160‑hour engagement.
• CJIS certification (or willingness to obtain certification, acknowledging a one‑month lead time before start).

Qualifications

• Experience with Cisco UCS hardware and VxRail platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation and vCenter administration.
• Proficiency in provisioning and managing Windows Server 2022/2025 virtual machines.
• Understanding of workload balancing, permission configuration, and day‑two VM lifecycle tasks.
