Principal Accountabilities
- Business Case Development: Lead the creation and evaluation of business cases for strategic initiatives, projects, and investments.
- Develop detailed financial models and forecasts to support business cases, including cost-benefit analysis, ROI calculations, and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, identify potential impacts, and propose solutions.
- Strategic Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform business case development and strategic planning.
- Analyze business processes and operational metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data-driven analysis to support decision-making.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input, present analysis, and obtain buy-in for business cases.
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful implementation of initiatives.
- Project Oversight: Oversee the implementation of approved business cases, ensuring that projects are executed according to plan and deliver expected outcomes.
- Monitor and report on the progress of initiatives, identifying and addressing issues or deviations from the business case.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance business analysis methodologies.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of business case templates, tools, and processes.
- Other: Key risk indicator and performance indicator development.
- Business case performance reporting and trending.
- Other analytics, benchmarking, and research as assigned.
Skills and Experience
- Expert Panel Interview (oral board)
- Error reduction and human performance improvement methods, and cost-effective work execution methodologies.
- Managing complex projects, on-line work management, or refueling and forced outage related activities.
- Advanced project management techniques at Commercial Nuclear Power Plants or similar facility.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from accredited college or university and twenty years of experience in a technical field;
- OR an AA/AS degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from accredited college or university and twenty-two years of experience in a technical field;
- OR a High School Diploma or GED and twenty-four years of experience in a technical field.
- An advanced degree in a related field of study or business may be accepted in lieu of two years of experience.
- Project Management certification is required.

Pay
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $80.59 to $108.96/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
