Responsibilities

• Manage a substantive, independent caseload with minimal oversight, focusing on removal and deportation defense matters.
• Handle immigration court litigation, bond hearings, appeals to the BIA, and related defensive practice.
• Maintain a strong court presence and comfort with a high-stakes litigation calendar.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of immigration law experience, with at least 80% concentrated in removal and deportation defense matters.
• Active license to practice law in New York State.
• Willingness and ability to work fully onsite at the firm's Manhattan office; this is not a hybrid or remote role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a substantive, independent caseload.

Qualifications

• Spanish language proficiency is strongly preferred given the firm's client base, but not strictly required for the right candidate.

Pay

$180,000 - $200,000 per year
