Senior Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer @ 100% Remote || W2 Only

About the role

We are seeking a Senior IAM Engineer to support enterprise Identity and Access Management initiatives across a large-scale environment. This role is highly collaborative and customer-facing, partnering with application owners, development teams, and cybersecurity stakeholders to design and implement secure authentication, authorization, and access management solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with application teams to gather authentication, authorization, and access requirements for new and existing applications.
• Design and implement IAM solutions that support secure user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access lifecycle management.
• Configure and support Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations using industry-standard authentication protocols.
• Facilitate onboarding of enterprise applications into centralized access management platforms.
• Work with application developers and business stakeholders to translate security requirements into scalable IAM solutions.
• Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, and access-related issues across enterprise applications.
• Analyze application and authentication logs to identify and resolve access issues.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud, and development teams to improve IAM processes and controls.
• Develop automation and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions to improve IAM configuration management and operational efficiency.
• Participate in IAM governance initiatives, role-based access controls, and compliance-related activities.
• Document architectural decisions, integration requirements, and support procedures.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Identity and Access Management (IAM) experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of Identity Lifecycle Management, Access Governance, and Provisioning processes.
• Experience implementing and supporting Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.
• Hands-on Experience With SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), OAuth 2.0, Federated Authentication concepts.
• Experience integrating enterprise and third-party applications into IAM platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with authentication workflows, application integrations, and access-related issues.
• Experience reviewing and troubleshooting authentication, application, and system logs.
• Experience working directly with application owners and development teams to implement IAM solutions.
• Experience using Terraform or similar Infrastructure-as-Code technologies.
• Strong understanding of security best practices and access control models.

Qualifications

• Experience with PingFederate administration, configuration, and SSO integration.
• Experience with Ping Identity products.
• Experience with access request platforms and self-service access management portals.
• Familiarity with CyberArk or privileged access management solutions.
• Experience supporting IAM workloads in AWS environments.
• Experience with identity governance and administration (IGA) solutions.
• Scripting or automation experience using PowerShell, Python, or similar technologies.
