Key Responsibilities

  • Complete all aspects of planning process including authoring project plans and developing scope, schedule, and cost baselines.
  • Aid others in the planning and document generation process for larger more complex projects.
  • Based on project plan, acquire team members as needed to complete the work following department protocols.
  • Manage all aspects of project including scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, communications, and stakeholders.
  • Interpret and transmit project/contract requirements, and subsequent changes, to functional groups following an integrated change management process.
  • Coordinate project communications ensuring team, customer, and all stakeholders are kept informed of status.
  • Maintain project databases, systems and procedures to ensure efficient handling and transmission of project correspondence and documentation between project team members.
  • Participate as primary author and/or reviewer of project procedures.
  • Participate in larger more complex projects as a project manager, supervisor, or individual contributor.
  • Properly close projects by archiving work in financial, scheduling, document management, and resource management systems/tools.
  • Perform final project quality assessment and report out. Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement, lessons, and risk avoidance for future.
  • Develop subject matter expertise in one or more Instrumentation and Control Systems supported by the group.
  • Participate in system and field leadership training.
  • Assist in preparing and delivering project specific training for crews.
  • Demonstrate the skills and ability to perform assigned job tasks.
  • Supervise assigned projects and teams with predetermined goals.
  • Lead projects in a manner that upholds a nuclear safety culture and reinforces the policies and procedures of Westinghouse.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with team, customer, and other stakeholders (e.g. internal management) to facilitate successful project completion as well as identify opportunities for additional business growth.
  • Use present and past experience to improve project execution and innovation of new tooling and services to further the continuous improvement goals of the group and Westinghouse.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience, or 3 years of Project Management experience and 2 years in a technical role.
  • Equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered.

Pay

The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills, is estimated to be $85,200.00 to $106,500.00 per year.
