About the role
R. Brooks Mechanical is a trusted HVAC partner in Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania, offering technical expertise alongside a close-knit team culture. As a Senior HVAC Service Technician, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain complex HVAC systems, working with DDC and BAS systems to ensure optimal performance.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, controls, and refrigeration issues on commercial HVAC systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter changes, coil cleaning, lubrication, belt replacement, and refrigerant checks.
- Work with DDC and BAS systems (e.g., Trane, Johnson Controls, Honeywell) to adjust setpoints, troubleshoot alarms, and verify control sequences.
- Assist with mentoring, training, and teaching the next generation of R. Brooks service technicians.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of HVAC service experience
- Knowledge of HVAC/R systems and components
- Valid driver's license
