Senior HVAC Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential heating and cooling systems
• Install, wire, and start up complete HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot equipment and recommend effective repair solutions
• Perform system inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance
• Explain repairs and recommendations clearly to homeowners
• Coordinate daily schedules with dispatch
• Order and manage parts needed for service appointments
• Complete service documentation accurately using tablets or mobile devices
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment
• Ensure every job site is clean and professional before leaving
• Follow all company safety procedures and industry best practices
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience on every service call

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience
• EPA Certification
• Valid driver's license
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer and tablet proficiency
• Ability to work occasional overtime and weekends when needed

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
• Climb ladders and work at heights
• Crawl, kneel, bend, crouch, and work in confined spaces
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Safely operate company vehicles
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Preferred Qualifications

• HVAC Trade School Certification
• Additional experience in construction or related trades
• Strong customer service background

Pay

$28–$35/hour
