About the role

Join a high-performing commercial HVAC service team supporting complex mechanical systems across a variety of industries. We are seeking a Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician who brings deep technical expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems, including:
    • Rooftop units (RTUs)
    • Coolers and boilers
    • CRAC units and refrigeration systems
    • VAV/VVT and control systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
  • Ensure all work meets safety standards and quality expectations
  • Work independently with minimal supervision in the field
  • Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, and internal teams
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior technicians as needed

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of commercial HVAC/R experience
  • Strong expertise in troubleshooting and servicing complex systems
  • Proficiency with:
    • RTUs, mini splits, boilers, chillers
    • Controls and building systems
  • EPA 608 Universal Certification (required)
  • NATE Certification (preferred)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs
  • Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and varying weather conditions
  • Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, and kneeling

Work Environment

  • Commercial job sites and mechanical rooms
  • Exposure to high-voltage systems and moving equipment
  • Work in loud environments and extreme temperatures

Additional Details

  • Full-time position (40+ hours/week guaranteed)
  • Limited overnight travel
  • Overtime and weekend work may be required
