Responsibilities
- Evaluate customer facility needs and conduct facility and project opportunity assessments to develop strategic solutions tailored to customer objectives.
- Partner with technical experts to develop solutions that align with customer objectives and project requirements, including HVAC modernization, building automation and controls, energy efficiency improvements, facility renewal, sustainability initiatives, and more.
- Collaborate with designers, contractors, estimators, and operations teams to ensure solutions are practical and executable, managing project team costs and financials.
- Evaluate project phasing, constructability, implementation challenges, subcontractor approaches, risk factors, and execution strategies to improve project outcomes and reduce delivery risk.
- Utilize knowledge of codes and standards to guide and confirm compliance of project solutions, manage external resources like consultants, trade partners, and utility organizations.
- Develop compelling business cases for capital improvement projects by assessing lifecycle costs, funding strategies, energy performance, operational impact, and return on investment.
- Quantify and submit for utility rebates through coordination with utility partners, supporting customers in identifying value beyond energy savings, including operational performance, system reliability, risk mitigation, asset renewal, sustainability objectives, occupant experience, and broader organizational priorities.
- Lead workshops and planning sessions that help stakeholders understand solution benefits, implementation requirements, potential risks, and expected outcomes, ensuring smooth project transitions through coordination with Pre-Construction and Project Management teams.
- Support the onboarding and professional growth of new and early career team members, building industry knowledge and professional connections through participation in technical organizations.
Requirements
- Subject matter expert in mechanical HVAC systems along with basic knowledge of energy, building design, estimating, and construction.
- Education: Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction, or Engineering Technology, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations in the past 3 years.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Carless Driving, or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
Skills
- Knowledge of codes and standards.
- Ability to lead project development from qualification through contract execution.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Experience in project management and budgeting.
- Technical expertise in HVAC systems and building design.

- Annual Base Salary Range: $105,228.33 - $146,720.00

Pay
Annual Base Salary Range: $105,228.33 - $146,720.00
Schedule
Monday to Thursday, work onsite with your colleagues. Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires.
