Senior Facilities Project Engineer

Responsibilities
- Create, review and submit customer requirements to OBO for new construction and renovations.
- Facilitate design and drawing reconciliation and acceptance with commercial contractors.
- Review construction drawings throughout the construction life cycle, commenting on corrections, adjustments, and changes.
- Customer Representative to DoS Office of Building Operations (OBO) for customer infrastructure and project issues.
- Oversee submission, negotiation, and delivery of DoS building permits.
- Responsible for the installation of communications systems that enable long-haul transport connectivity for posts across the globe, including complex baseband and satellite terminals.
- Lead and manage project planning, technical and procedural oversight, project scheduling, installation oversight, and strategic resource allocation.
Requirements
Required Skills:
- Familiarity with Customer systems
- Familiarity with Technical Security Requirements for National Security Systems
- Expertise in Multiple Telecommunications systems and associated Infrastructure
- Additional Technical and Specialty Training/Certifications Etc.
Qualifications
- Years of Experience: 9+
- Education Level/Major: Bachelors or equivalent work experience
- Can Equivalent Experience be Substituted for Educational Requirement: Yes
Skills

Pay
Travel requirements/amount and duration are subject to the needs of the Customer and may be more or less than what is listed. Must be a US Citizen and have an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph from day one of employment and be crossover eligible.
