Senior HVAC Installation Technician

About the role

Take ownership of residential and light commercial HVAC installation projects from start to finish. This hands-on position is for someone with 5+ years of HVAC installation experience who can produce quality work, help guide other installers, and keep projects moving efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Complete residential and light commercial HVAC installations
• Install and replace furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless systems, ventilation equipment, and related components
• Take responsibility for installation projects from preparation through completion
• Help direct and train installation helpers and other crew members
• Verify installations meet company quality standards and applicable codes
• Identify and resolve installation issues in the field
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite
• Explain new HVAC systems and basic operation to homeowners
• Coordinate with dispatch and project teams to keep installations on schedule
• Ensure equipment is installed correctly, efficiently, and safely

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on HVAC installation experience
• Previous crew lead or leadership experience preferred
• Strong understanding of HVAC installation practices and code requirements
• EPA certification required; Universal preferred
• Experience with Trane, Mitsubishi, or Generac is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while supporting the rest of the installation team
• Pride in workmanship and attention to detail

• $28–$38/hour
• $65,000–$85,000+ annual earnings potential with performance bonuses and SPIFF opportunities
