Duties Summary

This position is being filled under a stream-lined hiring authority, Title 21 of the United States Code (21 US Code 379d-3a) as amended by the 21st Century Cures Act of 2016, section 3072 and the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023, Section 3624. The candidate selected for this position will serve under a career or career-conditional appointment and be paid under the provisions of this authority.

Requirements

  • Relevant Years of Experience: Applicants must meet the following relevant years of experience to qualify for this AD-0201-Band D (GS-14 equivalent) position: 7 years of comparable federal service experience serving as a senior HR advisor in the recruitment and placement of senior executives, including Senior Executive Service (SES), Senior Level (SL), Scientific or Professional (ST) positions, and equivalent executive hiring authorities ensuring alignment with agency and OPM regulatory requirements.

  • Provides expert advisory services to senior leadership on a broad range of human resources matters - including compensation, recruitment and staffing, and workforce planning.

This position is located in the Office of Operations, Office of Talent Solutions, which provides high quality and efficient Human Resources solutions that enable the FDA to hire a talented and qualified workforce.
