Senior Human Resources Services Specialist
About the Role
Röchling Automotive is looking for a Senior Specialist HR Services to join our team in Duncan, SC. This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working with people, supporting leaders, resolving employee-related matters, and contributing to a positive work environment. The role involves a broad range of HR activities including employee relations, performance management, training, benefits, compliance, and HR process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related questions and concerns
- Assist with resolving employee issues and conflicts and conduct investigations when necessary
- Promote a positive work environment through employee engagement initiatives
- Support the performance review process, including goal setting, feedback, and development planning
- Assist managers with performance issues and improvement plans
- Identify training needs and coordinate employee training programs
- Track and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives
- Support the administration of compensation and benefits programs and provide guidance to employees regarding benefits enrollment and claims
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation
- Assist with HR reports, metrics, and other HR-related data
- Assist in developing, updating, and implementing HR policies and procedures
- Ensure consistent application of company policies and practices
- Support HR projects and initiatives focused on improving HR processes and systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on organizational development projects
- Coach and guide leaders on personnel-related matters
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
- 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive environment
- Strong understanding of HR principles and practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with HR processes and tools, including background checks, STAR interviewing, DISC assessments, and competency models
