About the role

The Senior HR Partner will act as a trusted advisor and change agent to department leadership, focusing on developing and implementing people strategies that support business objectives and the Credit Union’s long-term strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage expertise in talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development to advise leaders on enhancing organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and supporting organizational growth.
  • Drive organizational change and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Anticipate workforce needs and design solutions for organizational effectiveness, succession planning, workforce planning, talent development, and employee engagement.
  • Use data and HR analytics to identify trends and provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making and propose actionable solutions.
  • Demonstrate expertise in handling complex employee relations issues, including investigations and conflict resolution.
  • Absorb organizational challenges, identify root causes, and develop tailored solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, engaging in both written and verbal communication, and building trust through strong interpersonal skills.
  • Manage performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
  • Utilize proficiency in enterprise HCM systems, Microsoft Office 365, data analysis tools, and reporting platforms to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in coaching and advising managers to enhance leadership effectiveness in HR areas such as employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation.
  • Strong ability to anticipate workforce needs and design solutions for organizational effectiveness, succession planning, workforce planning, talent development, and employee engagement.
  • Expertise in employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Experience managing performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
  • Proficiency in enterprise HCM systems, Microsoft Office 365, data analysis tools, and reporting platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-/SCP or SPHR) is preferred.
  • Eight or more years of corporate HR experience.
  • Expertise in one or more area of HR (recruitment, compensation, benefits, learning & development) and a progressive career path into a business partner or generalist with a focus in talent management, employee relations, and workforce development.
  • Experience working directly with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational priorities required.

Pay

$100-105k/year DOE + bonus

Schedule

Full-Time, Hybrid, Exempt
