About the role

The Senior HR Manager will play a pivotal role in designing, building out, and continuously evolving the policies, processes, and programs that support a growing organization. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the design and continuous improvement of onboarding programs.
  • Developing and expanding policies, programs, and people practices.
  • Designing and delivering manager training programs.
  • Building and improving performance and development practices.
  • Creating a learning and development strategy and program infrastructure.
  • Supporting leadership effectiveness and building a culture of continuous learning.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters.
  • Conducting or overseeing workplace investigations.
  • Managing compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Evolving hiring practices, candidate experience, and talent systems.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior generalist or HR Manager role.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting organizations through startup and high-growth phases, ideally having helped scale from early-stage to 200 or more employees.
  • Proven experience building policies, processes, and programs from scratch in environments where the work was not handed to you.
  • Experience conducting or overseeing workplace investigations and managing complex employee relations.
  • Experience directly managing and developing employees or small teams.
