The Senior Human Resources Manager for the Excavation Division manages a broad scope of responsibilities that includes support for U.S. Manufacturing Operations, our European Design Center, and global Product Management organizations. This role helps set the division HR strategy, governs strategic HR initiatives, and is responsible for division people processes including performance management, advanced compensation/total rewards, HR analytics, and mobility programs.
This role partners with leaders at all levels globally to deliver people strategies aligned to business objectives and provides leadership across core HR disciplines including employee relations, talent management, workforce planning, compliance, and organizational effectiveness. The position requires strong consulting capability, data-driven decision making, global collaboration, and the ability to influence at multiple organizational levels.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted coach providing guidance to leaders and managers on HR-related matters, including performance management, compensation and benefits, and organization design.
- Align HR policies and programs for the division, facility, or region which promote employee engagement, retention, and performance.
- Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities and develop a story to provide data-driven recommendations to senior management.
- Collaborate with senior management as a strategic advisor helping identify and prioritize HR initiatives that align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
- Lead a team of 5-10 HR professionals to collaborate effectively with other Centers of Excellence and serve as thought leaders to the business and HR.
- Develop and implement change management methods and materials to facilitate deployment of HR programs and processes within a specific organization.
Requirements
- Education: Degree or equivalent experience desired.
- Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes needed for making sound decisions; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
- Global Perspective: Knowledge of issues, opportunities, and challenges for conducting business in the international marketplace; ability to apply global perspectives appropriately.
- Knowledge of Organization: Understanding of the organization's vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics; ability to align capabilities with business goals.
- Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and tools; ability to analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
- Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside the organization.
- Leadership: Knowledge of leadership practices and processes; ability to enlist others in setting, embracing, and achieving objectives with a long-term perspective.
- Human Resources Consulting: Knowledge of HR approaches, tools, and techniques; ability to inform, guide, and advise managers on HR-related initiatives.
- Talent Management: Knowledge of how an organization attracts, recruits, retains, and develops talent; ability to develop the talent required for short-term and long-term goals.
This position will be located in Peoria, IL and requires 5 days a week in office. Domestic relocation is available for those who qualify. Sponsorship is not available. Global travel up to 20%.
Pay
Summary pay range: $159,120.00 - $238,680.00. Compensation and benefits may vary depending on job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance, and experience.
