About the role

The QTI Group is partnering with a manufacturer to hire a Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Sr HRBP) who will serve as a strategic partner to leaders throughout manufacturing and corporate operations. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this highly visible role will be instrumental in shaping people strategy, building leadership capability, driving organizational effectiveness, and navigating change within a fast-growing manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to leaders across manufacturing, operations, and corporate functions.
  • Lead employee relations activities by coaching managers and supervisors on performance, accountability, communication, corrective action, and leadership effectiveness.
  • Analyze workforce trends and metrics, including turnover, engagement, absenteeism, and performance indicators, to identify root causes and recommend solutions.
  • Partner with leaders to improve workforce stability, engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Support talent assessment, succession planning, and workforce planning initiatives to build leadership pipelines.
  • Identify leadership development opportunities and help design programs that strengthen management effectiveness and employee growth.
  • Collaborate with leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives and operational priorities.
  • Provide expertise on employment law compliance and employee programs, including ADA accommodations, FMLA, and other employment-related matters.
  • Support a workforce that includes both hourly manufacturing employees and professional staff, while understanding the unique demands of a production environment.
  • Contribute to HR process improvements and help build scalable people practices that support the continued company growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience in a strategic HR Business Partner, HR Manager, or similar role.
  • Experience supporting hourly production workforces and understanding the realities of staffing, cross-training, production demands, supervisor accountability, and manufacturing operations.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting both manufacturing and corporate employee populations.
  • Strong employee relations background, including experience conducting investigations and advising leaders on complex workplace issues.
  • Proven ability to influence leaders, build credibility, and drive outcomes without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Experience supporting organizational change, talent development, succession planning, workforce planning, or organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience helping organizations grow through periods of change and evolution where processes are being built and refined.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or similar certification preferred.
  • Multi-state HR experience is a plus.

Benefits and Compensation

Location: 100% on-site, Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Compensation: $105-115k + bonus potential and excellent benefits.
