Key Responsibilities
- Partners with assigned client groups in the interpretation and administration of human resources policies, employment law, compliance practices, and organizational initiatives across multiple business units and locations.
- Led and managed complex employee relations matters including investigations, conflict resolution, corrective actions, performance concerns, and policy interpretation while ensuring fair and compliant outcomes.
- Provides strategic coaching and guidance to leaders on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, employee engagement, leadership development, succession planning, and change management initiatives.
- Guides and assists employees and managers in the interpretation and administration of HR policies, procedures, practices, and programs.
- Drives and supports organizational change initiatives, organizational design efforts, workforce planning strategies, and business transformation activities.
- Pairs with the entire HR team including recruiting, payroll, benefits, & to support business objectives and employee needs.
- Analyzes workforce metrics and trends including headcount, turnover, retention, engagement, talent movement, and HR program execution to develop data-driven recommendations and action plans.
- Identifies organizational risks and proactively recommends solutions to improve employee experience, compliance, operational effectiveness, and overall workforce performance.
- Serves as a trusted advisor and coach to leadership by building strong relationships, influencing decision-making, and supporting business strategy execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 5-10+ years supporting field operations (e.g., service technicians, drivers, fleet, distribution branches, or warehouse environments), including experience with safety-sensitive or compliance-driven workforces.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret workforce data, identify trends, and provide actionable business recommendations.
- Advanced knowledge of employment law, HR compliance requirements, and employee relations best practices.
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally with employees and leaders at all organizational levels.
- Must be resourceful with the ability to think critically, solve problems, and manage sensitive and complex situations with sound judgment.
