Skills / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Admin, or related field
- Minimum of 7-10 years in an HR Generalist or similar role with extensive hands-on experience in a union environment
- Knowledge of transportation, logistics industry preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in employment law, employee relations, labor relations, collective bargaining agreements, grievance handling, conflict resolution, compensation, and salary administration
- Proven experience interpreting, administering, and navigating union contracts, with direct involvement in contract negotiations
- Ability to effectively manage and resolve complex workplace conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary matters in partnership with union representatives and leadership
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills with a proven ability to build trust and credibility at all organizational levels
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Able to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a dynamic, evolving environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- PHR or SPHR certification strongly preferred
Pay Range
$105,682.50 - $140,910.00+ (Based on Experience)
