Responsibilities
- Manage and provide leadership to HRBPs.
- Oversee employment process and benefits administration for region.
- Escalate issues or problems as needed.
- Aid managers in counselling and disciplining employees and provide guidance on the process and documentation of the same.
- Cook up, analyze, and supply information on any legal issues.
- Handle all legal federal or state claims under direction of Corporate Legal Counsel.
- Aid in training and development of regional management and staff.
- Coordinate training initiatives with Director, Associate Leadership and Development.
- Cook up, monitor, and review Performance Agreement procedures.
- Participate in unemployment hearings as needed.
- Conduct due diligence and analysis and coordinate orientation and training in order to bring new employees onto payroll system.
- Recommend changes and/or new policies and procedures as needed.
- Aid managers in following policies and procedures.

Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma/GED, Bachelor’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field preferred.
- Work Experience: Minimum 9+ years of experience in Human Resources Generalist management, SHRP designation preferred.
- Knowledge, Skill and Abilities: Must be able to effectively communicate with others, speak, hear, and sit most of the day, Knowledge of federal and state regulations relating to Human Resources, Ability to develop procedures manuals, employee handbooks and company policies and procedures, Must be computer literate and have experience working with word processing, spreadsheet and graphical software, Must have excellent interpersonal organization, communication and negotiation skills, Must be a good listener and be able to develop the trust of the HR team and employee at large, Some travel required.
