Senior Human Resource Advisor
About the role
We are committed to the development of our Mammoet professionals. As HR Advisor you would play a critical part in helping to accelerate careers in line with our business objectives. Our environment moves fast—one minute you're discussing succession planning with senior leadership, the next you're helping solve an employee relations issue on a jobsite, then brainstorming a better onboarding process. If you enjoy variety, aren't easily rattled, appreciate healthy sarcasm, and love building relationships across all levels of the business, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted business partner supporting operational leaders across the business while helping shape our people strategy.
- Partner directly with business leaders to provide practical HR guidance that helps leaders make confident business decisions.
- Coach leaders through performance management, employee relations, and organizational challenges.
- Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and talent reviews.
- Drive recruitment strategies for both office and field operations.
- Support organizational design and change management initiatives.
- Analyze workforce data and trends to influence business decisions.
- Lead and participate in HR projects that improve the employee experience.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes and challenge outdated ways of working.
- Help develop future leaders across the organization.
- Partner with leadership to build an engaged, high-performing culture.
- Support mobility, workforce planning, and long-term organizational growth.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- Strong experience supporting operational or industrial environments; preferred in heavy-lift, heavy haul, or equipment industry.
- Experience partnering directly with senior leaders.
- A strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
- Experience in organizational development, succession planning, and talent management.
- Confidence making decisions in situations where there isn't always a perfect answer.
- Ability to balance business needs with employee experience.
- Excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence.
- Strong business acumen and ability to influence without relying on authority.
What success looks like
Within your first year, you'll become a trusted advisor to business leaders. Within two years, you'll be helping lead major HR initiatives, influencing organizational decisions, mentoring other HR team members, and preparing to assume broader leadership responsibilities.
Skills
We're looking for someone who:

- Isn't afraid to respectfully challenge leaders.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment without creating unnecessary drama.
- Sees ambiguity as an opportunity instead of a roadblock.
