Senior HR Generalist - Carol Stream, IL

About the role

The Senior HR Generalist position is located and must report on-site at our Carol Stream, IL manufacturing site. Relocation assistance is available for a qualified candidate currently residing in the USA.

• Support deploying HR policies, programs, and initiatives, including but not limited to employment, compensation, labor relations, training, talent acquisition and development, and work practices
• Own the site data reporting and analyses process; provide suggested actions to the site HRM; monitor the performance of HR key indicators, HR programs and initiatives allowing a data-based decision-making process
• Ensure integrity in all HR systems with timely and accurate data entry and regular audits
• Support local recruiting, including interviews and selection; ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines, laws, and goals
• Aid managers and employees with understanding and applying HR tools to improve organization performance and drive culture including performance management, employee development, succession planning and retention
• Conduct investigations on employee relations and ethics matters; provides summary reports and recommended actions to site HRM and regional HRD; support activities and processes to promote positive employee relations
• Collaborate with HR Services on transactional HR matters

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• 3+ years of experience as a HR Generalist
• Previous experience leading employee relations, training, on-boarding, workforce planning, & performance management initiatives
• MS degree in Human Resources or related degree (preferred)
• 5+ years’ experience in human resources (preferred)
• Experience and exposure to various manufacturing environments (preferred)
• Data analytics experience (preferred)
• Experience developing and tracking training programs (preferred)
• Effective and verbal communications skills
• Good organizational and prioritization skills to maintain and address multiple assigned projects and expectations
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish (preferred)

Pay

The expected annual salary range for this role is $86,000 - $115,000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
