Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day human resources operations across employee relations, policy guidance, documentation, and personnel support while handling sensitive matters with discretion.
- Manage recruitment activities from requisition planning through offer stage, including sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, evaluating applicants, and supporting a smooth onboarding experience.
- Facilitate onboarding and orientation efforts that help new employees integrate quickly and understand company expectations, policies, and resources.
- Advise supervisors and managers on performance conversations, employee development planning, corrective action, and consistent application of workplace policies.
- Oversee compensation-related processes such as merit reviews, pay adjustments, and recognition initiatives in partnership with leadership.
- Administer employee benefits programs, serve as a key contact for benefit-related questions, and coordinate annual enrollment activities with external providers.
- Review timekeeping records in Dayforce, approve hours as needed, and work with payroll partners to help ensure accurate employee data and pay administration.
- Monitor attendance, leave activity, and employment records to maintain organized documentation and support compliance with applicable regulations.
- Cook discipline actions, separations, and exit processes in collaboration with department leaders while promoting fair and legally compliant employment practices.
- Organize engagement programs, employee events, and communication initiatives that contribute to a positive culture and support retention efforts.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive human resources experience, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Demonstrated ability to operate as the primary or sole HR contact supporting a broad employee population.
- Working knowledge of employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, compensation, benefits, and HR administration.
- Familiarity with employment laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels.
- Experience using HRIS platforms and timekeeping systems; Dayforce experience is preferred.
- Strong judgment, interpersonal communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
