Senior HR Generalist

About the role

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to join our dynamic team in Lawrence, MA. This role will work closely with the site leadership team to support HR strategy and human resources activities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the site leadership team.
• Aid in the full-cycle recruiting process.
• Provide advice, coaching, and counseling on policy and procedure interpretation and employee relations issues.
• Offer guidance and support on the performance management process.
• Maintain data in the HRIS system (Workday).
• Support programs to enhance employee engagement and job satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the Learning & Development team on training and development needs for managers and employees.
• Partner with the Benefits Team to provide guidance on health and wellness programs and benefits.
• Aid in site audits and compliance-related matters.
• Participate in HR continuous improvement projects and initiatives.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of direct HR experience in a generalist role with demonstrated ability to serve as a resource and partner to site management teams.
• Knowledge of Federal and MA State laws.
• Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills.
• Ability to provide a high level of customer service.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

• Manufacturing industry experience.
• Workday (HRIS) experience.
