About the role
The Senior HR Generalist will oversee and execute key human resources activities, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, training and development, and HR policy implementation. This role partners with leadership to support organizational goals while fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
- Develops HR solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action.
- Improves manager and associate performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and associates.
- Completes special HR projects by clarifying project objectives; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling transactions; communicating project status and issues; resolving concerns; analyzing time and cost issues; preparing reports.
- Maintains management and associate confidence and protects organization operations by keeping information confidential; cautioning others regarding potential breaches.
- Complies with legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
- Administers associate benefits programs and responds to associate inquiries.
- Assists with compensation reviews, wage benchmarking, and market analysis.
- Implements HR programs by including Talent Acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, retention, and compliance; completing personnel transactions.
- Identifies training needs and coordinates associate development programs.
- Facilitates HR-related training sessions, including compliance and leadership training.
- Supports career development and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
- Evaluates HR policy effectiveness, procedure fairness, records management, and compliance with regulatory and company guidance.
- Contributes to HR and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5-7+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
