Senior HR Business Partner, Global Data & Analytics
About the role
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) at Equifax serves as a strategic advisor and driver of business outcomes through talent planning and execution across a highly matrixed enterprise. Specifically, this role supports the Global Data & Analytics organization, leading the people strategy directly for the Global D&A organization and influencing the overall talent strategy for the Enterprise D&A function.
The role is based in Alpharetta, GA and operates on a hybrid schedule with flexibility to work remotely Monday and Friday plus two weeks from anywhere. This is not a remote position. The position does not offer immigration sponsorship (current or future) including F-1 STEM OPT extension support. It is a direct-hire role and not open to C2C or vendors.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic partner and confidant to global D&A leaders who have significant enterprise impact to ensure that HR strategy is aligned with business strategy to enable success.
- Provide executive coaching and counsel to leaders on a variety of topics including organizational design, development planning, workforce planning, performance development, and related topics.
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Data & Analytics Council and their HR Business Partners within business units and regions to align on functional talent needs and execution of key talent priorities.
- Manage the annual talent review, succession and compensation planning processes, including project managing activities and facilitating all calibration meetings.
- Provide guidance on effective performance management and maintain a strong talent pipeline for key global roles; develop retention strategies for high-potential talent.
- Identify skill gaps, training opportunities and support career development and learning initiatives across Enterprise D&A function.
- Be proactive in identifying and addressing issues, while adhering to global processes and remaining execution focused.
- Work with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to evaluate roles and positions, and determine appropriate band/grade/compensation components.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment, leading by example, and driving initiatives to improve employee engagement, morale, and retention.
- Engage in cross-cultural collaboration with global HR teams to ensure alignment on HR strategies and initiatives.
- Analyze data, metrics, and trends to develop targeted and informed solutions to organizational and business challenges.
- Resolve employee relations issues by conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Participate in special projects within the business and across the HR function as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or other related disciplines, or equivalent related experience
- 7+ years of experience as a consultative HR Business Partner
- Strong working knowledge supporting global organizations and experience with compensation planning, organizational design, employee relations, employee development, performance management and general employment laws
- Strong background designing and leading learning and development initiatives is highly preferred
- Exceptional skill in understanding, managing and executing on complex issues and competing deadlines while communicating effectively across all levels of the organization
- Intuitively influences positively and manages conflict with approachability, tactfulness, sound judgment and discretion
- Able to develop, attract and assess talent
- Able to identify and anticipate client needs and make practical recommendations for implementation
Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree
- SHRM Certification - PHR / SPHR
- Experience working with Data & Analytics functions and supporting AI education and training
- Experience with Google Workspace tools, including Gemini
- Experience with Workday
