The Senior HR Business Partner will be responsible for scaling Cohere through an exciting phase of growth. They will partner with leaders across Finance, Legal, People, Go-to-Market, and Corporate Functions.
About the role
- Lead HRBP for Non-Technical organization
- Set priorities across the function
- Play a key role in hiring and onboarding HRBP counterpart as the team grows
- Influence organizational design, leadership effectiveness, talent strategy, performance, succession planning, and organizational health
- Shape how teams scale, leaders grow, and organizations perform
Responsibilities
- Organizational design and team effectiveness
- Leadership coaching and capability
- Performance, talent, and succession planning
- Employee engagement and retention
- The continued evolution of our People function
Requirements
- Operated at Director-level HRBP scope, Head of People level, or equivalent
- Experience partnering with business functions such as Finance, Legal, People, Go-to-Market, or other corporate organizations
- Experience in startup, scale-up, or other high-growth environments
- Supported globally distributed organizations
- Exceptional written communicator who thrives in async environments
Qualifications
- Location: Can be based remotely or from one of our office locations
- Overlap with Eastern working hours required for close collaboration
