About the role

The Senior HR Business Partner will be responsible for the execution of all HR services, including training, succession planning, performance management, recruiting, workforce effectiveness, and individual development planning. This role supports both corporate and field-level associates and managers on HR-related matters, ensuring HR programs and plans align with business priorities and monitoring effectiveness through key measures.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the brand/business unit HR team to develop HR plans (strategies, objectives, initiatives) that support the business strategy.
  • Act as an advocate for associates, fostering a best-in-class work environment.
  • Display expertise in human resources functions: staffing, employment processing, health and welfare benefits, training, employee communications, record management, safety and health programs, employee relations, retention, and local compliance administration.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity, and retention.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Serve as a liaison with other HR teams (Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, HR Systems/Operations) to coordinate program development and execution.
  • Guide managers and associates on HR-related concerns and the performance management process, including development of business objectives and individual development plans.
  • Partner with the Compensation and Benefits Manager to communicate and implement compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance and meeting business needs.
  • Drive other departmental initiatives and support the HR Director.
  • Act as a lead for HR Business Partners in the field.
  • Develop training and serve as the primary contact for non-employee relation issues.

  • Applies innovative strategies to identify and recommend solutions for associate HR issues.
  • Strong project management and process improvement skills.
  • Ability to collaborate, consult, and influence at various levels of management and associates.
  • Strong communication skills (written, oral, and presentation).
  • Strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources preferred or equivalent experience.
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
  • Military equivalent recognized in lieu of education and/or experience.
  • Analytical reasoning ability.
