Resorts World Las Vegas seeks a polished professional to market the nightclub, restaurant, lounge, and other amenities while building a personal clientele list. The role centers on delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving business through reservations and promotions, and maintaining the highest service standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a daily/nightly guest list of preferred clientele on specified days.
- Book weekly industry groups on designated days.
- Follow and execute the weekly host schedule and visitation rosters.
- Interact, entertain, and provide guests with information in a professional, cordial, and exemplary manner while recognizing and cultivating regulars.
- Respond to all guest inquiries and requests.
- Drive business through booking reservations and collaborate with casino marketing departments, including table, slot, and international marketing.
- Execute weekly goals (guest list, table requirements, and marketing plan).
- Ensure guests are aware of events and support their execution.
- Participate in in-house modeling programs, special casino events, banquet service functions, marketing campaigns, and advertising; perform model/presenter tasks as needed.
- Pose for promotional photos as requested by management; appear in uniform or designated logo apparel for promotional or charitable activities on or off-site.
- Assist in developing promotional plans to increase business levels and sales.
- Maintain social media platforms as directed by management, posting events, communications, and participating in marketing campaigns.
- Use a personal device/cellular phone for job-related operational tasks, including reviewing company documents.
- Perform other job-related duties as requested.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of previous experience as a VIP host and/or promoter in a similar or related field.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, beer, and mixed cocktails.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English.
- Polished appearance and demeanor.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge of company and department rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a day club or nightclub.
- Working knowledge of table reservations software.
- Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
Physical Demands
- Work is performed indoors and outdoors, split between an office and day/nightclub environments; may require some travel.
- Must be tolerant of varying conditions, including noise levels, temperature, illumination, and air quality.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
- Frequent bending and reaching.
- Transporting, pushing, pulling, lifting, and maneuvering items weighing up to 10 lbs.
- Eye/hand coordination required.
- Ability to comply with policies, procedures, job descriptions, daily memorandums, chemical labels (SDS), and other instructions.
