Responsibilities
- Helps build collaborative working relationships both internally and externally.
- Executes effective sales calls that identify and meet the needs of the referral community and clearly communicate the features and benefits of Immediate Home Health & Hospice.
- Successfully executes a weekly, monthly, and quarterly strategy to increase market share through key account development including prospecting/diversification and call frequency/routing.
- Plans activity to maximize territory coverage of both existing and prospective accounts.
- Participates in collaborative strategic planning and problem solving as it relates to marketing growth strategies and community education.
- Achieves admission goals/expectations as established at hire or at review of annual agency budget goals.
- Attends staff meetings to give an update regarding accounts, customer needs, and progress towards agency growth strategies.
- Celebrates in-services with community and medical-based groups to educate them on hospice services on an as needed basis.
- Checks e-mail daily and responds to phone messages within 24 business hours.
- Completes all other projects as assigned by the leadership team.
Requirements
- Previous sales/marketing experience, preferably in hospice, home health or other healthcare services or products.
- Demonstrated history of positive sales results, and customer relationships that led to outstanding results.
- Results driven.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer skills are also required.
- Bachelor’s degree and related healthcare experience and knowledge preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with maintenance of good driving record and an automobile that is insured and is in good working order.
- Ability to work in an interdisciplinary setting.
Qualifications
- Minimum hospice experience: 5 years.
