About the role

WMH Solutions is hiring an experienced Senior Field Service Forklift Technician to support customers in the Madison, AL area. This role is built for a technician who can work independently, diagnose complex equipment issues, communicate professionally with customers, and keep forklifts and material handling equipment running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, maintain, and support forklifts, material handling equipment, and industrial equipment throughout your assigned territory.
  • Work directly with customers, troubleshoot equipment issues, complete repairs, document service activity, and help keep customer operations moving.
  • Manage service calls efficiently within your assigned territory.
  • Maintain communication with service leadership and support teams.
  • Support junior technicians when needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Forklift Technician, Field Service Technician, Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Technician, Equipment Mechanic, Industrial Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar technician role.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience with hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, engine, drivetrain, or industrial equipment systems.
  • Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical documentation.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
  • Able to lift 50+ pounds and work in industrial environments.

Qualifications

Pay

Strong hourly pay based on experience.
