Senior Healthcare & Life Sciences Solutions Architect, AI Solutions, HCLS
About the role
This role ensures success in building and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform for Healthcare and Life Sciences customers. In partnership with account management, the Solutions Architect formulates and executes customer engagement strategies that drive meaningful cloud adoption outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Help shape and deliver AWS strategy for global HCLS customers and partners
- Partner with some of the world's largest healthcare and life sciences companies to design cloud architectures addressing their industry-specific business challenges
- Link technology with measurable business value for healthcare and life sciences organizations
- Lead in-depth technology discussions, articulating the value of the AWS platform to Enterprise Architects, Technical Architects, Cloud Architects, Directors, VPs, and CXOs
- Craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures
- Aid organizations in understanding best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions
- Assist in migrating existing workloads to the cloud
- Define or invent cloud-native reference architectures for a variety of use cases (e.g., Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Serverless and Container-based architectures, Analytics and Big Data, DevOps, and Security)
- Formulate and execute strategies to build mind-share and broad use of AWS within enterprise customers
Requirements
- 5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- Experience in a technical role within a sales organization
- 5+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning), GenAI (Generative AI), Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience

Skills
Staying current on emerging AI/ML technologies and cloud-native patterns is essential, translating that knowledge into actionable guidance, reference architectures, and customer-facing publications such as whitepapers. The role builds deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customer organizations, enabling them to become cloud advocates. It also serves as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support, while capturing and sharing best-practice knowledge across the AWS Solutions Architect community.

Pay
Base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
- USA, IL, Chicago - 153,600.00 - 207,800.00 USD annually
- USA, NY, New York - 169,000.00 - 228,600.00 USD annually
