Senior Healthcare Informatics Analyst

Responsibilities
- Conduct EDA, descriptive statistics, and predictive modeling on healthcare claims data.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and healthcare professionals to understand project requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Create clear and compelling data visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Prepare high-quality technical reports, presentations, and documentation summarizing analysis results.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional healthcare data analytics experience, preferably in a healthcare analytics or payment integrity organization.
- Experience with Amazon AWS cloud platform and QuickSight.
- Programming skills in Python, PySpark, or Spark SQL.
- Strong understanding of claims and EMR data.
- Bachelor’s degree in health informatics, public health, biostatistics, economics, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage in technical conversations to maximize business value.
- Comfortable working both in the details and providing context to the broader picture.
- Able to communicate effectively in person and in writing without relying on generative AI.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with healthcare payment integrity, claims processing, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with tools like Quicksight, Power BI, or similar for effective insight communication.
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Python, PySpark, or Spark SQL.
- Strong understanding of claims and EMR data.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Our fully remote opportunity includes about 5% travel.
