Senior Healthcare Informatics Analyst

About the role

Responsibilities

• Conduct EDA, descriptive statistics, and predictive modeling on healthcare claims data.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and healthcare professionals to understand project requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Create clear and compelling data visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Prepare high-quality technical reports, presentations, and documentation summarizing analysis results.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional healthcare data analytics experience, preferably in a healthcare analytics or payment integrity organization.
• Experience with Amazon AWS cloud platform and QuickSight.
• Programming skills in Python, PySpark, or Spark SQL.
• Strong understanding of claims and EMR data.
• Bachelor’s degree in health informatics, public health, biostatistics, economics, or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills, able to engage in technical conversations to maximize business value.
• Comfortable working both in the details and providing context to the broader picture.
• Able to communicate effectively in person and in writing without relying on generative AI.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with healthcare payment integrity, claims processing, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with tools like Quicksight, Power BI, or similar for effective insight communication.

Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Python, PySpark, or Spark SQL.
• Strong understanding of claims and EMR data.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Our fully remote opportunity includes about 5% travel.
