Senior Health and Social Care Support Worker
About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Sutherland Health and Social Care Team. We are looking for a motivated & enthusiastic individual who will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working with patients in their own homes to provide holistic care. Your primary responsibility will be to provide support and assistance to service users to maximise and maintain their independence. The post holder needs to be flexible and able to use their own initiative. The post-holder will provide high standards of patient care in support of the team to ensure delivery of a high-quality service to the local community.

Requirements
- A driving licence is essential for this post.
- Access to a vehicle for work purposes is required.
- The post covers 5pm – 10pm on a 4 on 4 off rota in the Lochinver area.
Qualifications
No formal qualifications are required, although experience is beneficial. Full training will be provided, and the applicant will have the opportunity to complete an SVQ in Health & Social Care.

Pay
Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
