Senior Health and Social Care Support Worker

About the role

The post holder will work effectively supporting care as appropriate to promote optimum achievable self-care allowing clients to remain in their own homes. There is a goal within Lochaber to expand the service to include reablement/rehabilitation to allow patients to avoid acute hospital admission / return home from hospital sooner and remain living in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to NHS Highland policies and procedures and all relevant local and national standards
• Strictly adhere to NHS Highland policies on confidentiality
• Show willingness and interest in continuing professional development
• Undertake relevant activities to meet training objectives identified through supervision
• Essential completion of SVQ health and social care level 3 to be registered with the SSSC

Requirements

• Current UK driving licence and use of own car for work purposes
