Senior Health and Science Specialist, Rare Endocrinology - Detroit, MI
About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Senior Health And Science Specialist Rare Endocrinology - Detroit MI to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will drive marketing initiatives focused on growth, customer acquisition, brand performance, and measurable demand creation. You will collaborate with analytics, product, creative, and commercial teams to turn market insights into scalable campaigns, testing strategies, and performance improvements. The position offers the opportunity to directly influence customer engagement, conversion performance, and revenue growth within a life sciences environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $108,600 – $250,700 annually
Responsibilities
- Engage customers and drive sales via in-person and virtual interactions across endocrinology accounts
- Develop compliant relationships with endocrinologists and multidisciplinary teams
- Communicate approved product messaging and disease-state information
- Identify opportunities and prioritize accounts using product and market knowledge
- Facilitate patient access by explaining authorization and reimbursement processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer needs
- Utilize digital tools to plan and optimize territory activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (8+ years with an associate's degree or 10+ years with a high school diploma)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales/marketing
- Familiarity with therapeutic specific healthcare provider roles
- Clean U.S. driver's license
Preferred
- 3-6 years of specialty sales experience in Endocrinology
- Strong understanding of complex diseases and specialty reimbursement processes
- Experience engaging key opinion leaders and high-influence accounts
