About the role
The Senior Growth Analytics Associate will drive the analytics behind utilization growth and service line performance at Carrum. You will serve as the catalyst for data-driven decision-making transforming raw data into a narrative that helps our leadership team make decisions.
Responsibilities
- Identify Trends & Opportunities: Proactively monitor business performance to uncover anomalies, seasonal patterns, or emerging market opportunities, and turn those findings into formal recommendations.
- Act as a Strategic Advisor: Respond to analytical requests from leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, providing deep-dives into specific business problems, market trends, and growth blockers.
- Own Reporting & Narrative: Maintain and work on key performance reports, ensuring they tell a clear, actionable story for the GM team. This will include forecasting, capacity planning and weekly business reviews.
- Leverage Modern AI Tools: Use internal AI tools to automate manual analytical processes, increase team efficiency, and accelerate your time-to-insight.
- Partner with Data Engineering: Collaborate with Carrum’s core data team so they can handle the heavy pipeline lifting, leaving you free to focus on high-level business analysis.
Requirements
- Have a Proven Track Record: You bring 3-5+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, finance, or business operations at a top tier firm where you regularly translate data into business decisions.
- Think Like a Consultant (First Principles Orientation): You don't just pull data; you crave the business context behind it. You are right at home in complex spreadsheets and can break down ambiguous problems into its core drivers and isolate key variables.
- Be Fluent in Data (But Strategy-First): You can easily handle complex analytics requests then interpret data and map it to strategic goals. Experience with Excel is a must. SQL and healthcare claims data is preferred, but your ability to see the "big picture" and make concrete recommendations is what sets you apart.
- Be Resourceful & Entrepreneurial: You can find creative ways to make a big impact quickly, navigate ambiguity, and autonomously drive projects forward without needing a rigid playbook.
- Balance Rigor with Nuance: You have a demonstrated ability to strike the perfect balance between quantitative rigor and qualitative, situation-specific business nuance.
- Be a High-Level Communicator: You excel at managing deadlines, prioritizing work in a fast-paced environment, and confidently presenting clear, narrative-driven findings to executive stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in management consulting, corporate strategy, finance, or business operations at a top-tier firm.
- Experience with Excel, SQL, and healthcare claims data.
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to break down complex problems into their core drivers.
- Experience with modern AI tools and the ability to automate manual analytical processes.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $100,000-$130,000 plus bonus, depending on level of experience and geographic location.
Schedule
This is a full-time position.
