Senior GRC Programmer/Analyst
This position is an onsite role available at any Huntington Corporate office location: Birmingham, AL; Tupelo, MS; Atlanta, GA; Houston, TX; Dallas, TX; Detroit, MI; Chicago, IL; or Charlotte, NC.
About the role
The Sr GRC Programmer/Analyst modifies existing software or application programs—typically more complex in nature—or writes new programs to support user and management needs within the GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) application space. This role is responsible for the implementation of new and existing GRC platforms.
Responsibilities
- Designs, tests, debugs, documents, and implements programs.
- Consults with users to design, modify, and explain program changes or to provide technical support.
- Resolves problems occurring in production systems.
- May serve as project leader in the development of automated systems or procedures.
- Provides direction and training to other team members.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ additional years of equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of related experience in software development.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in GRC systems (Archer, OpenPages, ProcessUnity, ServiceNow IRM).
- Experience supporting cloud-native platforms and on-prem hosted applications (AWS, Apigee, Linux OS, and OpenShift).
- Experience with .NET/C# or other object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Python, Java).
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Experience working in a multi-platform environment.
- Ability to balance both development and support roles.
- Experience working on projects involving business segments.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Focus on customer service and ability to work well with other IT, vendor, and business groups.
- Microsoft Office experience.
Pay
Compensation range: $57,000 – $113,000 annual salary. The final compensation will vary based on factors including location, experience, and education. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.

Schedule
This is an exempt, full-time, onsite position. Certain roles may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement combining in-office and remote work. Specific arrangements will be provided by the hiring team.
