Senior Graphics Developer/Designer - USCYBERCOM J2

Responsibilities

• Provides graphic design and layout solutions for intelligence products including, but not limited to, developing illustrations, editing existing images, font management, and advanced pre-publications techniques.
• Integrates graphics with text, audio and video to support interactive and multimedia high-visibility finished intelligence products.
• Works collaboratively with analysts to understand requirements and further enhances/conveys analytic thoughts and assessments by developing graphic and layout solutions.
• Demonstrates proficiency in professional graphics and design software to include, but not limited to, Apple Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Creative Suite and Apple Mac hardware platforms.
• Develops graphics and diagrams associated with USCC J2 intelligence production, including researching and collecting information from internal and external stakeholder subject matter experts as well as other sources.
• Analyzes, interprets, and cross-checks information to ensure accuracy.
• Organizes information, determines optimum method of presentation, and creates content according to plan.
• Ensures that current style guides and other applicable publications policies are followed in the preparation of all materials.
• Safeguards that completed materials fulfill the specified purpose and scope.
• Aids in determining and supervising the production process for completed materials, to include both digital and print media.
• Documents Operating Instructions (Ols) for Command-wide programs and initiatives as assigned by the Government.

Requirements

• A minimum of 12 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years, and a master’s degree.
• OR - A minimum of 17 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years, and a bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of the labor category activities required to meet mission requirements.
• Demonstrates ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.

Skills

• Proficiency in professional graphics and design software to include, but not limited to, Apple Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Creative Suite and Apple Mac hardware platforms.
