Senior Global Sourcing Specialist
About the role
As a Senior Global Sourcing Specialist, you’ll play a key role in shaping and strengthening our global supply network. You’ll identify and develop strategic suppliers, negotiate opportunities that deliver value, and help ensure we have the quality, capacity, and supply continuity needed to support our business. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work across cultures and functions, build strong supplier partnerships, navigate global market challenges, and turn sourcing opportunities into results. You’ll also have the opportunity to travel internationally to visit suppliers, assess capabilities, and build relationships that support our long-term success.
Responsibilities
- Execute global sourcing strategies that support company objectives for cost, quality, delivery, and supply continuity.
- Identify, evaluate, qualify, and onboard suppliers across international markets to strengthen and diversify the global supply base.
- Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships while monitoring supplier performance, quality, compliance, and delivery.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial agreements, and contract terms in partnership with Purchasing to achieve optimal value and service levels.
- Conduct supplier audits, capability assessments, and due diligence activities, including domestic and international travel as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- 5-8+ years of experience in global sourcing, strategic procurement, supply chain, or purchasing within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Demonstrated experience sourcing internationally, including supplier qualification, negotiations, tariffs, currency considerations, and global supply markets.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, project management, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Pay
Base Compensation Range: $105,700 – $158,700 per year. Compensation offered will be based on a variety of individual factors, including education and experience, as well as internal equity. Our salary ranges are reviewed and updated each year and employees are eligible for pay increases based on individual performance.
