Senior Global Demand Planner

Roles & Responsibilities

- Reporting to the Senior Demand Planning and SIOP Manager, this position will be responsible leading the Global Demand Planning Process for BDB - Research Reagents, a complex long tail portfolio composed of + 15,000 SKUs Will lead the efforts to optimize and generate Statistical Forecast through SCM (but not limited to), measuring performance with different forecast error criteria (such as MAPE, WMAPE, BIAS, among others), helping to determine best configuration and time series-based model / forecasting strategy, using portfolio segmentation strategies (i.e.: ABC_XYZ) - Coordinates and schedules global demand review meetings with global marketing team, confirming unit and revenue alignment for WW Demand, identifying risks and opportunities, and publishing meeting summaries and action items. - Actively contribute to support the optimization and continuous improvement of the Global Research Reagents Strategy in the Demand Planning functional area - Coordinate the activities necessary to produce 3–5-year long Demand Forecast Projections - Consolidates Demand review data and prepares summary reports for use in monthly SIOP and Finance Reconciliation process. Pulls monthly forecast Snapshot data and consolidates for reporting and presentation purposes. - Prepares quarterly long-term demand planning datafiles for capacity planning meetings with operations. - Supports BDB Research Reagents SIOP process improvement efforts, developing process improvement ideas and implementing them through the Global Demand Reviews.

Experience Required

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Demand planning using an ERP system required. - SAP & SCM (APO) experience preferred. - Strong MS Excel, Data Analytics, Statistical Forecasting abilities are required. Previous Exposure to SIOP (S&OP) in Multinational | Matrix Organizations preferred

Eligibilities & qualifications

Education - BS/BA with concentration in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Admin or Operations Management preferred. Certifications: ASCM (APICS) CPIM certification preferred.
