About the role
The Training Coordinator, Senior Specialist role is responsible for ensuring the smooth and effective execution of training projects. This includes managing and coordinating the intake, development, deployment, and collaborating with all key stakeholders to deliver successful learning programs.
Responsibilities
- Applies seasoned Training Coordination experience to independently resolve a variety of complex problems that have significant impact on cost or efficiency of training operations.
- Identifies areas for possible improvements and proactively addresses problems within scope of responsibility.
- Makes recommendations on new processes, tools and services that can impact projects in training operations.
- Modifies existing LCoE tools, techniques, and processes, with approval from leadership.
- Contributes actionable ideas in logistics and quality meeting sessions.
- Cross trains in other overlapping LCoE areas (Onboarding, Training Quality and Compliance).
- Accountable for project lifecycle of a deliverable, independently tracks and manages key milestones, determines project and workload priorities, and makes recommendations on process improvement and streamlining.
- Accounts for PO and Invoice management on the team, identifies areas for improvement in the invoicing process, and identifies areas for cost reduction in POs raised.
- Manages other team members to identify files for archiving at the end of each project, accountable for material upload, and continuously works to improve and automate the archiving process.
- Exercises effective interpersonal, communication, training, and problem-solving skills within Training Operations and when interfacing with key stakeholders on project execution.
- Supports the Onboarding function of the LCoE team and supports any operational audit initiatives.
- Performs UAT testing on LCoE deliverables, leverages experience to identify patterns in issues found and makes recommendations on resolution and development process improvement, and leverages relationships across the LCoE team to improve outputs.
- Supports Training Sessions – Virtual and Face to Face, creates and manages session schedules, invites, meeting links, rosters and room bookings, reserves meeting rooms with appropriate A/V support for virtual or face to face, coordinates catering and supplies for in person LCoE events, provides online support during live virtual sessions, supports instructor logistics, including provision of travel guidelines and attendee rosters, and identifies room set-up/AV requirements, manages production and delivery of printed course materials where required, and manages all pre and post program activities and surveys for both face to face classroom and online training.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelors' degree and at least 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Prior training operations experience is preferred.
