Senior Fund Finance Associate – Private Equity

Our client, a boutique private equity firm in downtown Chicago, is seeking a Senior Fund Finance Associate to join their expanding team on a hybrid basis. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits including health coverage, PTO, and retirement plans are offered.

Responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence on fund managers and support investment recommendations
• Analyze audited financial statements and operational processes
• Prepare research reports, Investment Committee memos, and meeting documentation
• Review legal and regulatory documents (e.g., offering memorandums, Form ADVs)
• Evaluate back-office operations, controls, and pricing procedures
• Track and organize data to support team efficiency
• Assist with manager meetings, onsite visits, and follow-up reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2-5 years of experience in public accounting (fund audit) or financial services
• Exposure to alternative investments (Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Financial Services) preferred
• CPA or CFA (or pursuing) is a plus
