About the role
Senior Full Stack Software Engineers are core to KLA’s technology. While we do not currently have an opening, we are always building our Software Engineering talent community and are interested in learning about your background.
Responsibilities
- Gather and define technical requirements
- Research appropriate technologies
- Select optimal solutions based on requirements and success criteria
- Design the requisite software components
- Coding the design
- Performing the requisite tuning and testing
- Maintaining up-to-date documentation
Requirements
- Sound understanding of the fundamentals of Computer Science
- Practical experience developing reliable software components
Desired
- Experience developing a software application that ships to a customer
- Experience with containerization and cluster management tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with web development (HTTP, REST, JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
- Experience building or troubleshooting scientific instruments or other mechanical, electrical, and/or optical systems
Qualifications
- Doctorate (Academic) or work experience of 2 years
- Master's Level Degree or work experience of 4 years
- Bachelor's Level Degree or work experience of 5 years
Skills
- Technical expertise in one or more programming languages (C#/Java/Python)
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Experience with data processing and storage technologies such as SQL and/or NoSQL Database systems
- Experience working with source control systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative thinker with good problem-solving abilities

- Base Pay Range: $110,900.00 - $188,500.00
