Senior Full Stack Software Engineer - Clearance Required

As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you'll be empowered to create "new realities" and pioneer solutions that break boundaries. You will provide full-stack Java software development in support of the Data Transformation Solutions (DTS) TKO contract, developing the middle tier to backend data storage along with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) development support.
TKO provides systems engineering, software development, data science, and cloud development and engineering services to the Cyber Infrastructure Solutions customer. The services enable Data Transformation, Malware Analysis, and Cyber Threat Intelligence processing and sharing capabilities, fulfilling mission objectives and offering actionable information to detect and mitigate cyber threats. The contract has several locations in Maryland and a small contingent in Texas.
You will contribute to innovative projects, working with cutting-edge technologies to deliver robust and scalable solutions. You will play a crucial part in designing, developing, and deploying applications that meet our clients' evolving needs, including vulnerability research, reverse engineering, penetration testing, and developing specialized cyber software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, and maintain full-spectrum cyber solutions.
- Develop and automate secure systems to support cyber offensive, defense, and full-spectrum cyber operations.
- Conduct vulnerability research, reverse engineering, penetration testing (red/blue teams).
- Develop and integrate low-level firmware and/or specialized cyber software solutions and tools based on mission requirements.
- Apply system knowledge (hardware, software, networks, cloud) to evaluate potential vulnerabilities and develop new capabilities to exploit and/or mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Develop middle-tier to backend data storage solutions, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) development.
- Deliver full-stack solutions with large data sets in a micro-services framework.
- Implement local caching services and integrate corporate authentication services into secure full-stack solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline plus fourteen (14) years’ experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Four (4) years of additional Software Engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Proficiency in Java and JavaScript.
- Experience with Python in an Agile software environment.
- Experience utilizing corporate authentication services into a secure full-stack solution.
- Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), Docker & Docker Compose, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub, and GitLab.
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
- Current US Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Poly.
Desired Skills
- Knowledge of commercial cloud services, preferably AWS.
- Experience with PostgreSQL / NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency in Go, Rust, and/or C++.
- Experience with library development.
- Familiarity with Vue, MinIO, Clickhouse, and Graphite.

Pay
Full-Time Salary Range: $166,900.00 - $309,900.00. The salary range is a general guideline and considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, and market/location considerations when extending an offer.
